Luka Capital home page over sea cliffs. The headline reads: Your capital deserves an architect.

Luka Capital is a Madrid real-estate group with three divisions: investments, living and legal. The brief asked for simple luxury and a site that earns the trust of institutional investors instead of behaving like a listings portal.

I built it at Authect in English and Spanish: the public site, a live catalogue fed by the client's Avantio system, and the studio the firm runs it all from, which has its own page here.

  • 17localized routes

  • 11database tables

Live catalogue

  • Two layers to Avantio

Zipped XML feeds supply the catalogue, parsed against an explicit whitelist and cached. Availability and price come from live SOAP calls, each with its own time limit.

  • It fails soft

If the feed is down the site falls back to a static set. The database client is lazy, so the public site builds and serves even when the database cannot be reached.

  • Quotes that cannot be spoofed

A stay quote re-resolves the accommodation from the page slug on the server, so a client cannot ask for the price of a different unit.

Property catalogue with filters for city, district, rental type and dates.

Run by the firm

  • Every sentence has a key

Edits are stored in the database and merged over the translation files when a page is rendered. If the database is down, the site serves the wording it shipped with.

  • Curation by listing

Staff feature, hide or reorder properties and add copy in both languages per listing, keyed to the Avantio id.

  • A studio of its own

The screens the team does this from are a case study of their own: Luka Studio.

Grid of apartments in Madrid with availability dates.
Living division page: Asset management and operation.
Investments page: Real-estate advisory and investment, over Madrid at night.
Home section: We build the thesis before the brick.

Search

  • Both languages, declared

Every page names its counterpart in the other language, and the sitemap lists both.

  • Structured data

The firm, the site and each listing are described to search engines as structured data.

  • Share cards drawn in code

Twelve share cards are generated from the site's own strings, in the language of the page being shared.

Security

  • A written audit

The repository carries a written security audit, global security headers and a production content security policy.

  • Sign-in

Sign-in is rate limited and credentials are compared in constant time.

  • Leads never drop

The contact form saves the enquiry before it tries to send the email, behind spam protection.

Brand identity by Twineich Branding Studio. Two earlier directions came before this build: a darker cinematic site and an editorial concept with a gated investor portal.

Luka Studio's live editor. The home page of lukacapital.co sits in a preview with its headline selected, and the Spanish and English versions of that headline are open in two fields above it.
